Game 21 - Kaylor and Ryno went back-to-back in the 4th and Fuzzy was almost untouchable for eight innings as the BOX improved to 16-5 with a 4-1 win over the Mariners.
The M's scored first in the top of the 3rd when an Ichiro triple follow by a controversial fair ball call on a pop-up down the right field line put them on the board. Miguel Batista didn't exactly roll through the first three innings, but a couple of timely double plays came to his aid. His luck ran out in the 4th.
First, Kaylor pounded a changeup 400 feet just to the left of straight away center. The next hitter, Ryno, turned on a hanging curve and knocked it into the left field seats. That would be all the offense required, but just for good measure we pushed 2 more across in the bottom of the 8th. Charlotte pitched a worry free 9th for her 9th save.
