BOX Baseball - Game 56 vs. Colorado

Game 56- The BOX offense took the day off and a few defensive blunders added up to a 5-0 shutout at the hands of the Rockies.

Jay was called into starting pitching duty and left the game with runners on and 2 outs in the sixth.  If Alicia could have gotten one more out it would have stayed a tie game, instead she gave up a 3-run homer to Brad Hawpe and that was pretty much game over.

Notes: Kaylor was named Player of the Month in May after hitting .416 with 15 homers and 45 RBI (in one month!)... Laura was named Pitcher of the Month going 4-0 with a 1.03 ERA and 32 Ks.

BOX Baseball - Game 55 vs. Colorado

Game 55- Laura pitched 7 shutout innings and Kaylor officially transformed into a giant lizard and stomped all over the Rockies pitching.

Kaylor was player of the game after going 4-for-4 with 2 homers (his 19th & 20th of the year,) 2 doubles and 5 rbi.

Woodyard led off the game with a single and then stole second but left the game after jamming his hand into second base.

BOX Football - Game 7 Highlights vs. Houston

Highlights from our ritual (the halftime show featured the live sacrifice of a keg) destruction of the Houston Cougars.


Agati sack and punch shows the BOX D is not to be taken lightly.


Nick shows off his cannon arm on Kaylor's first TD catch.


This time Nick shows off the touch by going over the top of the blitz for Kaylor's 2nd TD. The ball appears to go above the top of the stadium.


Werley burns Houston's 3rd and goal D. After this play the Cougar's defensive coordinator was seen throwing away his clipboard.


The amoeba zone, just like the 4 South flag football team used to run, ends in Ryan's sack.

BOX Baseball - Game 54 vs. Colorado

Game 54 - Kaylor's ridiculous tear continued and Chimpy took advantage of a rare start to provide the offense. JC pitched 3 solid innings and Agati threw out two key baserunners on the D. Charlotte tight-roped her way to her 20th save of the year for the defense.

Chimpy took advantage of Ryno taking a day off with a stiff back and slammed a three run homer in the second. The lead didn't last long as Ray spun a 3 run lead into a 2 run deficit faster than you could say 850-feet of combined home runs. (This was a nice change of pace from the cpu waiting until the 7th inning to start pouring it on.) JC came in and pitched 3 excellent innings to keep the game from getting away.

Kaylor hit a 2-run homer to give the BOX a 7-5 lead and we had just enough pitching and defense to hold on.
